Isaiah 40:30-31 – “Though youths grow weary and tired, And vigorous young men stumble badly, yet those who wait for the LORD will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.”
The spring season has arrived to encourage renewal. As nature springs to life and reveals newly blossomed flowers, we should all look at areas in our lives that need renewal also. Many people participate in spring cleaning their home. They spend plenty of time organizing, cleaning, planting gardens and purchasing items for their home. But, rarely do they look deeper to seek out renewal in other areas of their life.
A good example that is common to many people issues with their jobs. Many workers are not happy with the environment they work in, their position and salary. This is one area of your life that you might struggle also. Perhaps this is where you need renewal. In order for renewal to begin you need to make positive changes related to the issue.
For example, if you want a better job you might have to go back to school and earn a degree. Or, maybe there is an easier fix such as asking for a salary raise or seeking another job position at a different company.
A common goal for many people is to lose weight. While this task is more difficult than most expect, there are steps you can take to reach this goal and reveal a new healthier body in the months to come. Habits such as eating healthy meals, exercising and drinking plenty of water often help this process.
Sometimes an easy shift in your thinking can help you feel renewed overall. If you have gotten into the habit of thinking negatively towards areas in your life, you can renew your thought process to become more positive.
Simply thinking positively about an issue in your life can help you feel renewed because it often encourages hope. It opens up possibilities that didn’t exist when you were thinking negatively about the same issue. Take action and start renewing areas of your life today.
Romans 12:2 – “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”
